This assignment was to shot a self portrait with photography. I like taking pictures of my eye, so i thought i would combinde my photography and my eye! Idk if it is to small to see but i have a picture of my camera in my pupil. I thought of this idea because looking at the picture it makes me think that i see photography in my eyes! if that even makes sense? (:

RETOUCHING PROJECT!

I changed a lot of little things from my original photo. like if you look closely i cloned my right eye and flipped it and pasted it to be my left eye also, because my left eye was smaller in the picture and also i did the same thing with my eyebrows because my eyebrows were uneven! I also made my hair blonder, whitened my teeth, made eyes bluer, got rid of wrinkles, blemishes on my face,  added earrings, and obviously the background color. The turn out was accually surprising, and i loved this project, even though it was very time consuming! (: I like the retouching project cause not everything is perfect in a picture, so instead of getting the right color background, you can just go into photoshop and change it to whatever color you want. i like doing it on photoshop better!!

It was really fun to take the picture and then paste them back together! I am a perfectionist so doing this assignment made me mad at time when the pictures didnt match up but i matched them as close as possible. and it turned out great! i love the pictures i took cause it has a meaning behind them so its interesting to look at for me! Out of all the projects all year this one has deffinatly been my favorite and i would deffinatly do it again if i was asked!!

This is my Word Photo (: 

My word is Innovative and the quote to go along with my word is "I work with things to make them better, i come up with new and creative ideas" That quote pretty much means what it says! It describes the creative side of me.  I liked this project, it was different from anything i have ever created before! However, i dont like the quote in the picture.. i think it makes it look bad? Also something i would have changed if i did the project over again, would to have gotten a more in focus picture because when the picture was printed it wasn't all the way in focus and could have looked better! 

This is my two jaguar photos that i uploaded on my last blog, but combined into one!! The way i combined them was Mrs. Ellmans idea but she said i could do the same thing if i created it by myself.. so i did and it turned out perfect! (:

After i combined the two i had to add texture behind the photo! My texture was a picture of my jeans really close up. I like the texture behind it cause now it looks like the jaguar heads are a piece of yarn art. 

I like it better with the texture behind it.. it makes it more interesting to me!! What do you think?!

My pictures of the jaguar are not that interest. I didn't know how to take a unique picture of it. But my first picture is a full view from the left side of the statue. And the second picture is a close up on the face.  If i had to choose between the two, I would probably pick the second one as my favorite because the first picture is just way to boring and not interesting to look at. In the second picture, you can atleast see the details of the eye, freckles, and wiskers! 

This weekend was amazinggggg! got to ride in a stretch hummer limo out to ft. worth for my bestfriends birthday party!! HAPPPY BIRTHDAYY Whitney Carpenter!(: 

During lunch, while everybody was outside having a snowball fight i was taking pictures of the beautiful snow in the school parking lot. I like this picture because of the angle of the Do Not Enter sign and how it is half frozen with snow. Its a pretty simple picture but i like to look at it for some reason!! 

This is my backyard! I have never seen my backyard like this before so I thought i should take a picture before the Texas wheater goes bipolar again and metals all the snow! I love the white trees in the background, it completes the picture. I just wish that branch wasn't in the top left hand corner. 

This is Mr. Snowman(: Which the guys build and the girls decorated! You cant tell from the angle but he stands taller than 7 feet. Mr. Snowman is still alive today but not only stands about 3 feet tall :(

Out of the Three pictures the first one is my favorite! Even though it is simple it catches my attention everytime i look at it. In the second picture, i cant get over the fact that the branch in the top corner bothers me! Its deffiantly not my best photo. And the last picture is my lest favorite because the background is to busy and its just boring to me.
